Whiskey City Traditional Archers

The Whiskey City Traditional Archers is a Traditional Only Bow Club that is nestled amongst fields of corn in Southeast Indiana. It was created like most things while sitting around with a couple buddies solving world problems. There was a lack of Traditional Only Bow Clubs in our area so we thought it over and decided "how hard can it be?" Whiskey City Traditional Archers Club was born. With 132 Members our first year and well over 100 Shooters at our year end classic shoot. We sure have big plans for the future. I'm sure many clubs across the country can make this claim, But one thing is ABSOLUTELY for certain we have some of the BEST members and single string folks that can be found anywhere! We pride ourselves on keeping things new and evolving in this club. A few things that we have going at Whiskey City, EVERY $20.00  membership comes with a FREE Shirt and discount on shoots throughout the year!  Every pee wee, cub, or youth shooter that comes to our shoot is awarded trophies in their class. We leave out a 15 Target Course year round for members to access! We kick off our season in early February shed antler roundup and stump shoot. We also have a Rod Jenkins Shooting clinic every end of February. Our shoots are ever evolving, small game only shoots, vintage bow shoots, the Super Bowl Sunday and St Paddys Day Throwdown, Mothers day all moms shoot for free shoot. We travel to other shoots and events throughout the year and usually carpool or camp in the same areas. Our targets throughout the year are constantly changing to keep things fresh and exciting. We have a year end classic shoot where folks battle it out for one of the most UNIQUE trophies in all of Trad shoots....The coveted "WHISKEY BARREL LID" from the Seagrams Distillery here in Whiskey City Indiana!  A HUGE announcement made this year was a year end member only rendezvous complete with camping, fishing (big fish contest for kids) music, special guest speakers, shoot offs, smoker rounds and member only trophies. We have a member only "Feather Fling" which is a pheasant hunt using single string bows and Flu-Flu's only!
